Welcome to first grade at Crestview Elementary! My name is Wendy Killough and it is my honor to have your child in my classroom this year. I have been in education for many years serving as a pre-school director, volunteer, substitute teacher, reading interventionist, and Special Education Assistant. I graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and received my teaching certification for Early Childhood-6th in May 2015 through Region 4 in Austin.
My husband, Matthew, is a local minister. I have two sons. Coby attends Oklahoma Christian University and Garret attends Lubbock Christian University.
I am proud to be part of a school district that promotes outstanding character, leadership, and seeks excellence. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I want them to develop a desire to become life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year. I look forward to a great school year together!
