Welcome to Crestview Elementary! I am thrilled to be serving as your Principal for the past 18 years. Before taking on this role, I had the privilege of being the Assistant Principal at Crestview for 3 years. My journey in education began at North Ridge Elementary, where I completed my internship during the 2005-2006 school year while teaching third grade.

Education has always been my passion. In 1997, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University. To further enhance my knowledge and skills, I pursued a Master of Education degree at Lubbock Christian University in 2006.

Being an administrator at Crestview has been an incredible experience, and my main objective is to foster a sense of family within our campus. I firmly believe that everyone who walks through our doors belongs here, and we are truly blessed to have them as part of our Crestview Family. Together with our amazing staff, we are committed to going above and beyond to serve our students.

Outside of my role at Crestview, I am happily married to my spouse Clay for 33 years. We have two sons and eight furry friends who complete our family. In my free time, I enjoy indulging in my passions for baseball, fishing, reading, and most importantly, spending quality time with my loved ones.

The inspiration to make a difference in education stemmed from the remarkable Helen Keller, whose life was forever changed by a teacher who believed in her. I strive to follow in the footsteps of that teacher, ensuring that every student's needs are met and that they have the opportunity to succeed. Each day at Crestview is special, and I am dedicated to making it extraordinary for everyone I encounter.
