Crestview Hosts Inaugural Celebration of Arts Night

The first ever Celebration of Arts Night had a great turnout, as parents gathered at Crestview to see the activities their students are learning in the classroom. The night consisted of Drums Alive — a collaboration of music and physical activity in the gym, artwork showcased throughout the hallways, the book fair was open for business in the library, and the innovation lab showed off gadgets in the cafeteria.

Michelle Bollier, the Crestview Innovation Lab Manager, oversaw the use of the innovation gadgets in the cafeteria.

“We had so much fun this year in class collaborating with one another that it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to have the kids engage in with and teach their families,” said Bollier.

She set the Sphero Bolts, Ozmos, Ozbots, Dashes, Dots and Bumblee Bee's set up in the cafeteria with stations set up for them to show their families. The objective of the Innovation Lab stations was for the students to be able to show how much fun they have had learning this school year.

Every part of Celebration of Arts Night was dedicated to giving families a chance to see and experience the fun and engaging lessons their students are learning in class.
