All About Mrs. LaQuey

 

Welcome to a new year and new adventures--YEEHAW! I am so happy you are here.  I am beginning my 19th year of teaching and my third year at Crestview-GO Big Cat Country! I taught in LISD, Bennett Elementary in Frenship, one year in Mount Dora, Florida, and made my way back to Frenship.  I have been married to my husband, Shawn, for 14 years as a blended family of three daughters and one son. We enjoy our weekends camping, golfing, and time with our grandbabies. I love making scrapbooks of all our family memories, a cold diet coke, and a good book! 

 

I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006 with a degree in Early Childhood Education-EC-4-Raider Power! I furthered my education at LCU earning a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.  I have had the joy of teaching Kinder, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade.  

 

I am excited to have your kiddos in my classroom while supporting and encouraging their adventures through reading.  Here's to the 2025-2026 school year and 5th grade!
