All About Mrs. LaQuey

 

Welcome to a new year and new adventures! I am so happy you are here.  I am beginning my 18th year of teaching and my second year at Crestview-GO TIGERS! I taught in LISD, Bennett, one year in Mount Dora, Florida, and made my way back to Frenship.  I have been married to my husband, Shawn, for 13 years and have a blended family with three girls and one boy.  We are blessed to welcome our two newest editions-Ryker and Carter as our grandbabies.  

 

I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006 with a degree in Early Childhood Education-EC-4.  I furthered my education at LCU earning a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.  I have had the joy of teaching Kinder, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade.  

 

I am excited to have your kiddos in my classroom while supporting and encouraging their adventures through reading.  Here's to the 2024-2025 school year and 5th grade!
