This is my 12th year at Crestview. I served as Assistant Principal of Crestview Elementary for 3 years before becoming Principal. My internship was completed at North Ridge Elementary during the 2005-2006 school year while I was teaching third grade. Prior to this I taught in Lubbock I.S.D. for 9 years as a third, fourth, and fifth grade teacher.

In 1997, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University. Later, I attended Graduate School at Lubbock Christian University where I received a Master of Education degree in 2006.

I has been married for 27 years to Clay, who is a plant manager at Profab Irrigation. We have 2 sons, two dogs, fifteen fish, and three birds. I love baseball, fishing, reading, and spending time with my family.

My goal in education is to do whatever it takes for all students to succeed! Making everyday a special one for all I come into contact with.
