Hello! Welcome to fourth grade! I am so excited you are here! 

 

My mission in teaching is to engage and encourage each and every child in their education. I have a passion for learning, and I can't wait to share it with your child this year! I've been teaching since 2008, and I've been lucky to call FISD home since 2014! 

 

I was born in Abilene and lived in Sugarland and Seguine all before the age of 5. My parents moved to Lubbock in my kindergarten year, and I have mostly been here since then. I am a Lubbockite through and through, and I wouldn't change it for anything. I went to Texas Tech and graduated in 2007. My husband and I chose to keep Lubbock home when we began a family - there's no better place to raise kids!

 

I have a daughter who is starting her freshman year at Tech and a son who is a sophomore at Memorial! They sure do keep me busy with various sports and activities outside of school! When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, shopping, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. 

 

Our Schedule:

KROC/ Morning Work: 7:40-7:50

Reading, Writing, Social Studies: 7:50-10:05

Math and Science: 10:05-12:20

Lunch: 12:20 - 12:50 

Recess: 12:50 - 1:10

Specials/PE: 1:10 - 2:10

RTI: 2:10-3:10

Dismissal: 3:15
